Serengeti Shines bright in National Corporate Awards

December 2022:

SBL kicked off the month of December with a bang and took home several corporate awards in one night from the Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE) and Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) held in Dar Es Salaam.

SBL won two awards at the Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE) in the Local content category where we were recognized for the role, we play in driving the economy of Tanzania through the deliberate utilization of Tanzania’s human capital, locally sourced materials, and services in our business operations.

We were also recognized at the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) awards gala and won two awards for outstanding CSR and environmental sustainability categories.

The awards are a recognition of our countless efforts in various areas, especially local content translated through our projects, such as Kilimo Viwanda, cereal sourcing from local farmers, empowering local talents and notable investment in CSR supporting the efforts of the government.
