To qualify for the graduate program you will need to have a higher education degree from a university or equivalent institution. Having a desire to progress your career and be a leader or a specialist in your chosen field is also very important. Here is a testimony of one of our former graduates who has grown to become our Engineering Service Manager.

“My name is Godwin. I joined Serengeti breweries Limited, in August 2014 as an Engineering graduate through Pan African early career program. As part of my learning, I was interested in safety and I was awarded the best risk assessment assessor award in 2015.

The same year, I was promoted to the role of supply capability specialist, driving the capability agenda and implementing the perfect plant management system to drive productivity. I installed perfect plant controls and reporting systems maps. A year later, I championed the rollout of excellence in the supply chain across the site as the step change from a perfect plant management system.

In September 2016, I moved to the role of packaging engineer looking after the packaging machine’s availability performance and driving equipment performance rate.

Later in November 2019, I was promoted to the role of Engineering Service Manager responsible for coordinating, coaching, and providing leadership for the performance of the overall Engineering function within Operation teams and site facilities.

Through my career growth, I have developed a sense of business in the areas of safety, quality, continuous improvement, people development, cost control, and governance.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Master of Engineering in Maintenance Management from Dar es salaam Institute of Technology. I also hold a Diploma in beverage packaging (beer) the rom Institute of Brewing and Distilling.
