Mirongo River Clean-Up as SBL's Contribution on World Water Day.

World Water Day is observed annually on March 22nd, and it is a day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of water and the need to preserve and conserve it. This year in commemorating World Water Day, we have reiterated our commitment towards initiatives for clean water provision and sanitation in Tanzanian communities with our SBL staff joining the public to clean the Mirongo river in Mwanza that empties its waters to Lake Victoria.

As a business, we have made various accomplishments related to water provision and conservation including undertaking 24 mega water projects in the country in the past 10 years which have collectively provided free and clean water to over two million beneficiaries under our SBL Water of Life program. Let us value water, protect it, and ensure that it continues to sustain life on our planet for generations to come.
