SBL’s Learning for Life Program Prepares Hanang Youth for Success.

Tanzania's demographic landscape reveals a substantial youth population, comprising around 64% of the total population. Yet, youth unemployment remains a critical concern, with a staggering rate of 13.6% for those aged 15-24. The situation is exacerbated by limited access to quality skills training, which is particularly pronounced in Hanang District, where youth make up approximately 70% of the population.

After recognizing this problem, Serengeti Breweries Limited has initiated the "Learning for Life" workshop. This program is a significant step towards equipping the young population with essential skills and knowledge that are crucial for personal development, entrepreneurship, financial management, and business/project planning. The workshop is not just a noble endeavor but also perfectly aligns with Hanang District's vision to excel in providing high-quality and sustainable services by 2025.
