Emmanuel Kyarwenda is the Finance Director for SBL.
Emmanuel brings over 15 years of leadership experience in finance, strategy, and business operations, having worked across various industries, including Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), real estate, agribusiness, and consulting. Prior to joining SBL, he served as Finance Director at Coca-Cola Kwanza Limited, where he successfully led financial strategy, business partnering, risk management, tax, procurement, and IT functions. His contributions resulted in significant cost savings, efficiency improvements, and revenue growth.
Throughout his career, Emmanuel has demonstrated strong financial acumen and a results-driven approach. Notable achievements include implementing a multi-million ERP system, leading a major route-to-market transition that significantly reduced cost to serve without affecting sales growth, and playing a key role in regional finance transformation projects across Central Africa.
Emmanuel holds a B.Com (Hons) in Accounting from the University of Dar es Salaam, is a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA), and recently completed the Senior Executive Program – Africa at Harvard Business School. He is passionate about leadership, mentorship, and driving financial excellence.
