The Festive Season: Road Safety with Positive Drinking

To give our consumers and the public a safe festive season, SBL held a Responsible Drinking and Driving Training Session to educate various road users on road safety as they stepped into the holiday season, characterized by increased festivities.

The training session held in Kijitonyama grounds in Dar es Salaam brought together more than 100 motorcycles, Bajaj (tricycle) drivers, the Chief of Traffic, and SBL staff.

During the session, SBL staff and the police sensitized the drivers on the importance of adhering to road safety measures and avoiding drunk driving.

The drivers and riders were also educated on moderation drinking and encouraged to be road safety ambassadors to their peers and other road users.
