Guinness at the wheel of the new EPL season celebrations in Tanzania

Dar es Salaam. Tanzania's football enthusiasts will gear up for the second round of EPL matches this weekend, courtesy of Guinness, the Official Beer and Official Non-Alcoholic Beer sponsor. Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL), the distributor of Guinness in Tanzania, will harness its expertise in marketing, creative advertising, and a strong legacy of world-class sports sponsorships to deliver unique and exciting experiences for fans this season.

The excitement of the EPL's second week kicks off with league leaders Brighton facing Manchester United at the American Express Stadium at 14:30 hours, followed by six other matches throughout the day where Guinness will be aiming to work closely with local pubs and retailers to create fun and engaging fan experiences throughout the season.

Wankyo Marando, Guinness Brand Manager said, "Through this experience, we want to show our support and uplift the football community in Tanzania, both on and off the field, while fostering new connections between our beer brand, customers and fans, and lovers of the English Premier League around the world".

This exciting sponsorship follows another successful year for Guinness, which has achieved double-digit growth for the seventh consecutive half-year. Tanzanian fans can now join the global celebration as Guinness unveils its largest campaign to date, featuring four new adverts, global out-of-home advertising, and local activations under the theme 'Lovely Game for a Guinness' in pubs and retail outlets across the country. Guinness also sponsors the Premier League's Goal of the Month award, reinforcing its strong connection to football.
